Only one accompanying person may participate in family delivery. 2. The accompanying person must be healthy on the day of delivery, cannot be quarantined, isolated, or epidemiological surveillance. Within 14 days of the date of delivery, the accompanying person was not in contact with the SARS-CoV-2 or the person in quarantine. 3. Families preparing for family delivery should limit contacts with others to the minimum necessary for 14 days before the date of delivery, in order to minimize the likelihood of coronavirus infection. 4. At hospital admission, the accompanying person is subjected to the same procedures as the birth patient, i.e. passes through the triage (tent at the entrance to the hospital where the initial epidemiological evaluation is conducted for SARS-CoV-2 infection). The accompanying person has body temperature checked and must complete the epidemiological survey form. Providing incorrect data in the survey may result in legal consequences. 5. During admission at TRIAGE point, a designated person from hospital staff swabs for antigen for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus and the accompanying person. Until the result is achieved, they remain in their designated location. 6. For taking an antigen test, the person accompanying during delivery pays a fee in the Central Registration of 50 PLN. 5. The accompanying person may be allowed into the birthing room at the time of the initiation of the birth, decided by the ward doctor after the pregnancy test, analysis of the epidemiological survey and the result of the accompanying person’s test. 6. The accompanying person dresses up in individual protective equipment in a place designated by the midwife of the Postorod Block. 7. The person accompanying throughout the entire hospital stays safe (2 meters) towards others, often wash and sanitize their hands and have a mask on, which adhere well to their face and cover their mouth and nose. 8. The accompanying person does not leave the delivery room in which he is with the childbirth, unless he receives such a recommendation from the medical staff. The accompanying person tries to maintain maximum distance from the medical staff. 9. It is suggested that the accompanying person should be supplied with water and dry supplies. 10. The person accompanying the obstetrician in the multiplayer room leaves the hospital immediately after giving birth. 11. The accompanying person leaves the hospital no later than 2 hours after giving birth on the roads of nature, subject to obstetricians being in a single room for that time (without other patients). 12. In case of a childbirth completed with a c-section, it is not possible to have an accompanying person in the operating room during childbirth and in the post-op room (POOP). The accompanying person awaits completion of the procedure at the site designated by the midwife or physician. The accompanying person may, after the birth of the child with the consent of the pediatrician doctor, stay with the child for some time in the designated room in the so-called. kangarooing (hugging a toddler in close contact, skin by skin). 13. The accompanying person after completing the participation in the childbirth is dressed in his or her clothes, and the disposable outfit and the mask is thrown in the mix-up waste basket. 14. For the sake of epidemiological safety of patients and their children, the accompanying person is obliged to comply with all organizational recommendations of the hospital’s medical staff.
